Our youth programs are designed to encourage youth and teens with disabilities to explore new interests, improve their social skills, and build their confidence and self-esteem.  Our programs provide opportunities for personal growth through activities that are both challenging and fun. We strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where participants can be themselves and have fun with their peers. Participating in our programs gives participants a chance to connect with others and the potential to create friendships that could last a lifetime.

NWCSRA’s staff are extensively trained in safety procedures, program protocols, and more. Our staff are energetic, caring, and dedicated individuals who have a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. NWCSRA is proud to offer a staff whose focus is to provide quality recreation programs and services for individuals with disabilities.

“A physical therapist will give you the strength to get out of bed, an occupational therapist will teach you how to get out of bed, but a recreational therapist will give you a reason to get out of bed.”
