Attn: Special Olympic Athletes

All athletes who want to participate in Special Olympics must follow these
instructions for the new medical form: 

1. Register online with SO: https://portals.specialolympics.org/
2. Fill out the SO Athlete Registration Form 
3. Submit completed form and with proof of online SO registration by email to chenry@nwcsra.org.

Competitive Sports

NWCSRA offers a variety of competitive sports throughout the year, including;

Bocce

Bowling

Flag Football

Floor Hockey

Golf

Jr. Basketball

Power Lifting

Snowshoeing

Soccer

Softball

Swimming

Tennis

Pickleball

Track & Field

Volleyball

Athletes wishing to participate in Special Olympic competitions must have
a current Special Olympics medical application form on file at NWCSRA
and Special Olympics Illinois valid through state competition.
It is valid for three years from the date of the examination. 

If a NWCSRA player/team places 1st at the Area Tournament, they will be
entered into the State Tournament. Upon entering the State Tournament,
there will be an additional fee to cover the cost of the event.
